This website is my personal academic and professional portfolio. I collect as little personal data as possible. I do not sell it, and I do not use it for advertising. This policy follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

I do not ask for sensitive data. Please do not send it through the form.

03Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. Only technically necessary storage may be used, for example to remember your language choice. This storage does not need your consent under § 25(2) TDDDG. If I ever add analytics, I will update this policy and ask for consent first where the law requires it.

04Who processes the data for me

  • Hosting and website platform: the site is built and hosted with Lovable (Lovable Labs Incorporated AB, Stockholm, Sweden). Lovable and its infrastructure providers process server data and contact form submissions on my behalf.
  • Email: if you write to me, your message is handled by Google (Gmail), Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland.
  • Images and files: some images and files may be delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.).

Some of these providers may move data to the United States. Where they do, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 45 and Art. 46 GDPR).

I share your data with no one else, unless the law forces me to.

05How long I keep it

  • Server logs: deleted by the hosting provider, usually within 30 days.
  • Messages: kept as long as our conversation needs it. I delete them when they are no longer useful, at the latest 2 years after our last contact, unless you ask me to delete them earlier.

06Your rights

You have the right to:

  • know what data I hold about you (Art. 15)
  • correct it (Art. 16)
  • have it deleted (Art. 17)
  • limit how I use it (Art. 18)
  • receive it in a portable format (Art. 20)
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)

You can also complain to a data protection authority. The one responsible for me is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin. You may also contact the authority in your own EU country.

I make no automated decisions or profiles about visitors.

I may update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
